Dane's high school senior session wasn't really a nightmare! It was at The Nightmare Golf Course in West Branch. That is where his high school senior session took place!
First Stop
Before we went to The Nightmare Golf Course in West Branch though, we went to one of my favorite places: the parking lot behind The Highway Brewing Co.
There are so many varieties of backgrounds behind The Highway Brewing Co. that I love for my high school seniors. Beautiful weeping willows, a bubbling brook, green grass, and a wood walkway!
It was a very hot day, but 2022 high school senior Dane Villareal put on his Carhart jacket. He must have been roasting in the humid 85 degrees, but he looked good! It probably felt like a nightmare to him in the heat!
Jax
His dog Jax, a one year old Weimaraner, came along and added to the great images! Jax was very well behaved. I loved petting his soft coat. He was so friendly, I ended up on my back in the grass, laughing and receiving kisses! I love when seniors bring their pets! It really makes their senior pictures unique.
Why Go To The Nightmare Golf Course in West Branch?
I had never been on the Nightmare Golf Course before, but Dane's mom Liz, called ahead to get permission to use this location. Dane is a golfer, so he's been there many times.
So we traveled out to the Nightmare Golf Course, where Dane's older brother was waiting with his dad's restored vintage 1973 Maverick. Pretty cool old car to use for his senior pictures! Another way to make your senior pictures unique and show your personality in your images.
The Nightmare Golf Course has a really nice view at the entrance where we parked the Maverick.
Just before we we were done with Dane's senior session we noticed a little bridge where the golf carts travel underneath the driveway to get to the course. It was just tall enough for Dane to stand up in, so we used that for some pretty cool images. I think they turned out great! All in all, we had a wonderful session and came home with some really unique images for Dane's senior pictures! I'm looking forward to creating unique images for all of my 2022 High School Seniors this year!
So, if you want unique images for your senior pictures, think about the things you are interested in or locations that mean something special to you. Bring a pet, musical instrument, uniform, vehicle or anything that is special and says something about your personality!
