Nestled in the serene embrace of Northern Michigan, our home is surrounded by a vast expanse of state land, offering peace and serenity amid nature. Learn a little about me here:

I'm the main photographer here at Portraits by Linda. My husband, Roman, lends his support by capturing behind-the-scenes moments.

Here's a little about me and my family. My husband, Roman, and I, have two grown daughters. One daughter is married and lives in the U.P.

We Like to Travel

With over 45 years of marriage under our belts, we love working and traveling side by side, cherishing each shared adventure.

Embarking on sunny adventures is a pastime for my husband and me, where we revel in the warmth of exotic locales. Some of the places we've visited are Puerto Rico, Belize & Mexico.

A Little About Me and My Husband

I'm a quiet, small town girl. Roman was born in Detroit. He loves living "up north". He is the talker between the two of us. I tend to be more reserved. Roman's outgoing nature ensures our dynamic balance. We are a team, professionally and personally.

Relaxing for Us

In our retirement, my husband Roman and I find fulfillment in pursuing our passions together. I love keeping busy crocheting, knitting and nurturing my love for photography. This year I will be attending 2 different photography conventions, to improve my skills and keep up with what's new.

My husband, Roman, enjoys making Maple syrup. Every spring he hangs his buckets on the Maple trees. He collects the sap to cook down into yummy Maple Syrup. It's delicious poured over chocolate ice cream, pancakes and waffles.

My husband and I like to take relaxed walks around our property. We have 20 wooded acres, two dogs, a cat and 10 chickens. We enjoy walking our dogs around our property. I was born in West Branch, MI. and after high school graduation in Coleman, MI. I came back to marry and live here.

Chaos

As a seasoned photographer, my mission goes beyond mere snapshots; In the world of portraits, I record emotions, coaxing sincere smiles from mischievous toddlers, and even softening the resistance of reluctant dads. It's not just about capturing faces; it's about helping individuals—regardless of age or disposition—embrace their best selves.

" I wanted to thank you for making it such a comfortable experience."

As your photographer, my foremost goal is to create a space where you feel not only at ease in front of the lens, but also in my company. With a commitment to your comfort and confidence, I approach each session with patience, ensuring that you never feel rushed or pressured into any pose or expression.
