I had the fun opportunity of having a family session on a golf course at Sugar Springs in Gladwin, Michigan. The day was a little cool, but beautiful, a spring day with Cottonwood fluff falling everywhere, like snow on the ground.
The Czarnecki family has a condo on the golf course, and Gloria and John's kids and families were up for a week this summer. Because there were 4 separate families besides ours, it took 5 golf carts to get us all around the golf course.
One family came from as far as California to visit. They haven’t had a family session in about 15 years, so it was a really great for them to get family pictures of all the kids together. They all had great ideas for settings and poses. I love it when I have help thinking of different ideas!
We went to at least 7 different locations on the golf course. All locations were beautiful in their own way with cattails, pine trees, green hilly grass & water. We managed to find shady spots everywhere except by the water.
Oliver
Oliver is 10 months old and so adorable, with his blue eyes and blonde hair. He's just starting to take his first steps. We got some really nice shots of him with mom and dad.
Naomi
The kids were having so much fun! It took little Naomi a little bit to warm up to having her picture taken. Naomi was shy at first, but me and her became buddies. I just love the pictures of her with her dad.
The parents, Gloria and John have been married over 40 years, just like me and my husband, who is now my assistant since his retirement. They liked doing traditional family pictures, especially in the pine trees. We mixed it up with some fun ones for the kids, too. Like running down a hill all in a row. It put genuine smiles on everyone’s faces.
