Bringing a pet to your photo session

I love it when people think about bringing a pet to their photo session I love dogs, cats and horses and are always happy to add them into your session! Here are some things you should remember to bring to make sure that everything goes smoothly when you are bringing a pet to your photo session:

  1. A leash. Bring a leash with you to your session. Leashes are good to have to keep your pet in the area we want him to stay. Thinner leashes are easier to hide or photoshop out if need be.
  2. A friend. It is nice to have someone to help out when your pet needs some supervision. When you want to have some pictures of you without your pet, it is nice to have someone hold them, rather than just leave them alone in your car.
  3. Treats. Treats can really be helpful to keep your pet in one spot. It will help keep your pet still and focused on the camera.
  4. A favorite toy. The noisier the better. I can use this noise to get your pets attention. We can also use it for a fun game and get some fun action shots.

If you are looking for a pet groomer before your session, here is a place in West Branch, you may want to call.
